Commissioning
Where feasible our commissioning experts here at PIMS pre-commission plant items at our workshop before shipping them to site. By designing packaged skids and pump sets with integral control & energy panels means that the sensors and meters can be energised and set up away from site.
This allows us to tightly control the commissioning period at the end of a project. This is a time of the project which notoriously can overrun and cause handover delays.
When we tie in these pre-commissioned items with the site installation, we are making sure we use the correct project technical staff. We also ensure that they have been involved from the project start. This then reduces the risk of the project overrunning at a later date.
