Did you know that the team here at PIMS have a box at Wembley Stadium? That’s right; we are lucky enough to have a box at Wembley stadium. It has been designed with one of our 3D Energy Centre drawings within it. Our operatives are all welcome to use this and we have already enjoyed some great results and team bonding overlooking the famous grass.
There have already been a couple of very memorable and magical occasions at the box. These are experiences that will not be forgotten anytime soon.
The first of these magical moments was our Managing Director Tim coming face to face with one of everybody’s childhood heroes. We had a visit from Sir Geoffrey Charles Hurst MBE. Sir Geoffrey was the English former professional footballer. He remains the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final. This was back when England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at Wembley Stadium in 1966.
Sir Geoffrey Charles Hurst MBE came and spent time with our team. We had a great time listening to a few stories of old, many of which were from matches that we remembered ourselves. Before Sir Geoffrey left Tim got him to agree that PIMS are like him; dedicated to excellence.
On another occasion we had the chance to pay tribute to the horrific terrorism events in Paris. It was an incredible time with the crowd of more than 70,000 joining to sing La Marseillaise. Applause greeted the end of the anthems before a minute’s silence was impeccably observed. One side of the London stadium was designed to create a Tricolour mosaic with coloured cards. It was a huge moment for us all and an honour to be part of it. Again, something none of us will be forgetting anytime soon.
